About Us

New Life Bible-Presbyterian Church was established in 1983 in Woodlands New town as a Protestant and Reformed witness in the northern part of the island. We have matured over the years and will continue to grow in faith and strength of the Lord.

We strongly believe the Bible to be the infallible and inerrant Word of God. We have a Presbyterian form of Church government. We earnestly hold to the Westminster Confession of Faith and we believe that salvation is by grace and through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ alone.

Our first priority as a Church is for true Christian worship of God. We seek to glorify and enjoy our God through worship.

Tamil Congregation Pastor

Rev. Dr. S.V. Nathan

I have served in pastoral ministry since 2005 and have been a Session Member at New Life Bible-Presbyterian Church since 2006. I provide spiritual leadership to the Tamil congregation through preaching, teaching, Bible studies, Sunday School, pastoral care, and counseling, and I am also actively involved in leading mission trips focused on evangelism and discipleship.

My ministry vision is to faithfully steward God’s Word through expository preaching, to nurture spiritual growth and strong families, to advance missions locally and overseas, and to equip future generations to live for God’s glory within a Reformed, Christ-centered framework.

English Congregation Pastor

Rev. Gerard Lim

I was saved in 1985 while studying engineering at NTU through a brother from Jesus Saves Mission (JSM). I first attended New Life Bible-Presbyterian Church due to proximity, but eventually joined JSM to follow the one who led me to Christ.

After one year of work as an engineer, I was called into full-time ministry. I underwent training in the Philippines, served as a missionary pastor in Malaysia, and later studied theology at Bob Jones University. I then ministered to Chinese factory workers in Saipan and spent years serving university students in China, where I also got married in 2005.

After returning to Singapore for family and NS considerations, I served 6 more years with JSM. Over time, burdened for youth ministry, I felt led to transition to New Life BP Church in 2021 after prayer and peace from the Lord.

Since then, my family and I have found a spiritual home in New Life BP Church, actively serving in various ministries and giving thanks to God for His guidance throughout our journey.

Chinese Congregation Pastor

Rev. Ken Ozuno

I was born in Osaka, Japan, in 1971. At the age of 16, I attended a summer youth Bible camp, where I came to faith in Jesus Christ and responded to God's call, dedicating my life to serving the Lord.

I graduated from Kansai Independent Baptist Theological Seminary in June 1996. From 1998 to 2022, I was involved in missionary work in Taiwan and China, focusing on youth and young adult ministry, campus outreach, and the training of Christian workers and pastors.

In 2023, I moved to Singapore and am currently serving as Pastor of the Chinese Ministry at New Life Bible-Presbyterian Church, where I continue to devote myself to pastoral care and the teaching of God's Word.

In my free time, I enjoy sports, including baseball, running, swimming, and cycling. I am also learning to ski and enjoy the challenge and excitement of exploring new activities.
